Responsible for developing and communicating schedules for all clinical staff including: Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, per diem nurse (PRN) pool, and Patient Care Technicians. Scheduling requirements include normal weekly schedules, call schedules, Paid Time Off (PTO) Schedules, and managing daily call:outs and late arrivals. In addition to these duties the position performs payroll activities including day:to:day maintenance, monitoring, and reporting using the electronic payroll system. Recommends ways to optimize the overtime utilization, Call pay and PTO. Role model and demonstrate the companys core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.
Essential Job Functions::/h2:
: Develop all clinic monthly work schedules by the 15th of the prior month in accordance with the needs of the business.
: Manage Provider PTO to ensure a fair and even distribution of PTO coverage responsibility in each region.
: Ensure that recording of all punches, PTO, Call, Weekend Differential etc. is timely and accurate to minimize payroll errors.
: Remediate unscheduled PTO as required.
: Review and track requests for PTO.
: Report scheduling changes and communicate excessive off time patterns to Manager, Centralized Scheduling.
: Ensure availability of PCTs in accordance with clinic PCT tier rankings.
: Accommodate clinical staff schedule preferences whenever possible
: Keep all regional management briefed on scheduling status including daily call:outs and late arrivals.
: Maintains confidentially with respect to all employee information
: Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. Minimum Position Qualifications::/h2:
: Knowledge of electronic payroll software and reporting
: Excellent relationship:building skills
: Demonstrated proficient use of Microsoft Office applications
: Excellent organization, interpersonal, written, verbal, and communication skills.
: Ability to manage multiple priorities, meeting deadlines in a fast:paced, ever changing scheduling environment.
: A strong sense of urgency is required to assure that unscheduled PTO does not result in uncovered clinics
: Available as required to take Call.
: Ability to travel independently to clinic locations. Desired Previous Job Experience:/h2:
: Prior payroll, scheduling and Kronos experience
High School Diploma/ GED Required
